Athan P. Papailiou

Associate

Athan Papailiou is a litigator at Pacifica Law Group. Athan focuses his practice on complex appellate and civil litigation, including constitutional, municipal, and commercial matters in state and federal courts. Before joining Pacifica, Athan served as a law clerk to Justice Debra L. Stephens of the Washington Supreme Court.

Athan is firmly committed to public service and pro bono services. He currently serves on the Board of Governors for the Washington State Bar Association, and is the youngest person to ever do so. Athan has also represented indigent clients on appeal through the Pro Bono Program for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

A Pacific Northwest native, Athan lives on Shilshole Bay in Ballard. He enjoys Scandinavian design, Greek cuisine, and neuroscience.
