A former trial attorney and regulatory specialist for the U.S. Department of Labor, Michelle Vaughn represents public and private clients in litigation and appellate matters.
Michelle Vaughan represents public, private and nonprofit clients in trial and appellate litigation.
Before joining Pacifica, Michelle served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Richard A. Jones of the U.S. District Court, Western District of Washington and for the Honorable John W. Darrah of the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois. Michelle spent several years working as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Labor before transitioning to work as both a regulatory specialist and an alternative case resolution program specialist for the U.S. Department of Labor, Mine Safety and Health Administration. Prior to that, she worked as a litigation associate for a D.C.-based international law firm, representing clients in complex individual and class actions and providing counseling regarding various regulatory and legislative issues.
Michelle was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan before living in Chicago, Illinois and Washington, D.C.
