LIVING OUR MISSION: Former Partners Serving the Community

Congratulations to our former partners who have transitioned from private practice to public service.

Serving the community in which we live and work is a foundational tenet of Pacifica.  That commitment sometimes yields opportunities our lawyers have pursued to work in the public sector. While we are sorry to lose our colleagues, we also honor and respect their decisions and wish them well in their new callings.  Congratulations to our former partners who have transitioned from private practice to public service:

• Matt Segal was appointed by Governor Inslee to serve as a King County Superior Court judge in the summer of 2021.
• Nick Brown was nominated by President Biden and confirmed by the Senate as the U. S. Attorney for the Western District of Washington in the fall of 2021.
• Greg Wong joined newly elected Mayor Harrell’s cabinet as Director of the City of Seattle Department of Neighborhoods in February, 2022.
