Pacifica Law Group Represents Historical Organizations in Lawsuit Seeking to Enjoin the Unlawful Sale of the National Archives Facility at Seattle

Pacifica attorneys are representing clients seeking to enjoin the unlawful sale of the National Archives facility at Seattle

Pacifica Law Group attorneys Paul Lawrence and Alanna Peterson are representing several historical organizations in a lawsuit brought by the State of Washington and a coalition of tribes, historic preservation groups, and museums seeking to enjoin the unlawful sale of the National Archives facility at Seattle. The Archives facility is the primary repository for federal records related to the history of this region, less than one percent of which are digitized. If the Archives facility is sold, the unique and invaluable records stored there will be moved more than a thousand miles away, precluding meaningful public access to them. For more information about the lawsuit, click lawsuit info.
