Rachelle Stefanski Joins Pacifica Law Group’s Education & School Districts Practice
We are pleased to announce that Rachelle Stefanski has joined our Education & School Districts practice group.
Seattle—Pacifica Law Group is pleased to announce that Rachelle Stefanski, has joined the firm as an associate in its Education & School Districts group.
Rachelle’s practice will focus on special education and general counsel matters for school districts. She has extensive experience in drafting and arguing motions, arbitration hearings, and mediation.
Before entering the legal profession, Rachelle was a Montessori Teacher and Assistant Director of a local Montessori school, where she developed curricula, provided staff training, completed annual accreditation reports, and communicated with parents. She was also faculty of an American Montessori Society Montessori Teacher Education Program, and she was a Washington State Approved Continuing Education Teacher, developing and presenting continuing education workshops to teachers.
“We are very excited to welcome Rachelle to our group,” said Denise Stiffarm, the Education & School Districts practice group leader. “The fact that she has a background in education prior to becoming a lawyer gives her a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the some of the challenges our school district clients face.”
Rachelle is a volunteer for the QLaw Foundation LGBTQ+ Legal Clinic. She earned her B.A. in English at Elmhurst College, and her J.D. at Seattle University School of Law.
