As Pacifica Law Group’s Accounting Manager, Portia Blanchette leads full-cycle accounting for the firm. With more than 15 years of experience managing financial operations for law firms and nonprofit organizations, Portia brings to her work a deep understanding of complex accounting processes and a passion for analyzing financial data and translating it into meaningful business insights.
Portia’s experience also includes training and developing accounting staff, expanding mission-aligned services to increase revenues, managing organizational change, and federal nonprofit grant management.
Prior to joining Pacifica, Portia worked as an accounting manager in the Seattle office of an international law firm. She also previously worked as accounting manager for Pioneer Human Services, a Seattle-based nonprofit social enterprise that operates throughout the State of Washington.
Portia was born and raised in Seattle, and is actively engaged in in the local community as a mentor to high school students and through nonprofit board service.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
