Pacifica is proud to announce that Partner Deanna Gregory was named President-Elect of the National Association of Bond Lawyers (NABL) Board of Directors at NABL’s annual Workshop conference held September 10-12, 2025, in Washington, D.C.
A longtime NABL member and leader, Deanna was first elected to NABL’s Executive Committee in 2023, and has served for the past year as Treasurer of the Board of Directors. Deanna also served as Secretary of the Board of Directors in 2023, and is a frequent speaker and panelist at NABL events and conferences. At this year’s NABL Workshop, Deanna is meeting with members of congress to advocate for tax-exempt municipal bonds and to discuss the importance of tax-exempt financing to state and local governments.
The National Association of Bond Lawyers is a nonprofit specialty bar association of municipal finance lawyers whose mission is to advance the field of public finance law through education, and by providing commentary and recommendations at the federal, state, and local levels with respect to legislation, regulations, and rulings affecting bonds.
A member of Pacifica’s Public Law and Finance Practice Group and a founding Partner of Pacifica, Deanna has over 20 years of experience in public finance and municipal law, serving as bond counsel for a variety of public entities in the Pacific Northwest, including cities, counties, public utility districts, ports, fire districts, park districts, schools, universities, state agencies, and other special purpose districts. Deanna is actively involved in the advancement of the municipal bond industry through her volunteer work and leadership roles nationally and locally.
Deanna is part of a group of Pacifica bond lawyers who are current and past NABL leaders. Alison Benge serves as Chair of NABL’s Tax Law Committee, and Jon Jurich served this year as Vice-Chair of The Workshop 2025. Stacey Crawshaw-Lewis and Faith Pettis have previously served terms on the NABL Board of Directors.
