Pacifica Law Group is delighted to announce Kylie Love has joined the firm in its Public Law and Finance Practice Group. A former clerk in the Washington Court of Appeals and U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington, Love focuses on Pacifica’s public law practice, which includes serving as general counsel and special outside counsel to Washington municipalities, and advising, representing, and defending municipalities and public entities in a wide range of disputes, challenges, and litigation and appeals.
“We are excited to add Kylie to our Public Law practice,” said Jon Jurich, Pacifica’s Public Law and Finance Practice Group Leader. “Kylie built an excellent foundation of skills and experience during her clerkships and as a law student, and she is eager to support our public clients and the communities they serve.”
Prior to joining Pacifica, Love clerked for the Honorable David G. Estudillo of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. She also served for two years as a clerk to the Honorable Ian S. Birk of the Washington Court of Appeals, Division I.
Love earned her J.D., cum laude, from Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Arizona State University Law Journal for Social Justice, and received multiple scholarships and awards, including a Distinguished Oral Advocate Award. During law school, Love worked in the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law Post-Conviction Clinic, where she investigated wrongful convictions, served as a legal extern in the United States Attorney’s Office, and interned for the Honorable Kenneth Schubert of the King County Superior Court, among other experience.
Before pursing her J.D., Love earned her B.S., magna cum laude, in criminology and criminal justice from Northern Arizona University Honors College.
