Pacifica Law Group is pleased to announce that LeAnn Campbell has joined the firm as an associate in its School Districts Practice Group. Campbell previously worked with the firm as a Summer Associate.
While Campbell is a recent graduate of the University of Florida Levin College of Law, she brings more than a decade of prior education-law experience to the firm. She worked during law school in Seattle Public Schools’ Office of General Counsel, Bellevue Public School District’s Legal Affairs Department, and for the American Bar Association Center on Children and the Law. Prior to law school, Campbell spent 12 years as a paralegal at a law firm representing public school districts, where she gained experience in administrative proceedings and supported attorneys in state and federal litigation.
“We are delighted to welcome LeAnn back to Pacifica and to work with her to build her career as a lawyer,” said School Districts Practice Group Leader Curtis Leonard. “Her deep and longstanding commitment to public education and varied experience make her a great fit for our firm and a valuable asset to our school district clients.”
Campbell earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and was recognized for her outstanding pro bono service. She also interned during law school with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Disability Rights Section and Microsoft’s Corporate, External and Legal Affairs department. Campbell studied education as an undergraduate and graduate student, earning her B.A., cum laude, in Education Sciences and a graduate certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education Policy from the University of Florida.
