Pacifica attorneys are in Washington, D.C. this week contributing to the National Association of Bond Lawyers’ (NABL) annual Workshop educational conference, which brings together municipal bond, tax, and securities lawyers from across the country.
Jon Jurich served as Vice-Chair of the Conference Leadership team, the group of volunteers charged with programming the event. Alison Benge spoke on the “Private Activity Bond Tests” panel, which explored types of use of bond-financed property that can raise tax issues.
Both partners in Pacifica’s Public Law and Finance Practice Group, Alison and Jon are consistent contributors to NABL as educators and leaders. Alison currently chairs NABL’s Tax Law Committee and has previously served on The Workshop Steering Committee and NABL’s Education Committee. Jon previously served as chair of the General Law and Practice Committee and as Second Vice-Chair of The Workshop Conference Leadership team, and will Chair the 2026 Workshop.
Alison and Jon are part of a Pacifica tradition of service to NABL and to the advancement of the municipal bond industry. Deanna Gregory was recently named President-Elect of the Board of Directors. Stacey Crawshaw-Lewis and Faith Pettis have previously served terms on the NABL Board of Directors.
