Bethany Brown and Geny El-Murr co-lead Pacifica’s administrative team.
Pacifica Law Group is pleased to announce the expansion of its administrative team with the hiring of Seattle legal industry veteran Bethany Brown as Director of People & Operations, and the promotion of longtime Pacifica controller Geny El-Murr to Director of Finance. Brown and El-Murr will co-lead the firm’s administrative team and, together with firm leadership, collaborate on Pacifica’s long-term strategy and growth.

El-Murr joined the firm soon after its founding in 2011, beginning her career at Pacifica in administration before progressing through its accounting department. During her tenure with Pacifica, she has contributed to its establishment as one of the most respected law firms in the Pacific Northwest. El-Murr holds both a B.A. and M.B.A. from the University of Washington, and was recently selected to participate in Leadership Tomorrow’s Impact program for 2026.
Brown has worked in talent acquisition for several prominent law firms, designing and implementing recruiting and professional development strategies, advising on market trends, and developing law firm diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and mentoring programs, among other achievements. Prior to joining Pacifica, she was Senior Director of Attorney Recruiting for a national law firm, where she collaborated with firm leaders to develop talent acquisition strategy with a focus on partner recruiting. Brown earned her B.A. from Washington State University.
