Experienced Litigator and Former Federal Judicial Law Clerk Ruby Nagamine Joins Pacifica Law Group

A former federal judicial law clerk and experienced civil litigator, Nagamine further strengthens Pacifica’s bench of litigation associates.

“We are excited to add an attorney with Ruby’s skill and experience to our litigation team,” said Litigation Practice Group Leader Jamie Lisagor. “Her level of ability and her interest in Pacifica’s work assisting clients with matters of significant community impact make her an excellent fit for our firm.”

Prior to joining Pacifica, Nagamine served as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard A. Jones of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. She also worked for several years as a litigation associate in the Seattle office of an international law firm, where she represented clients in a range of complex civil litigation matters in state and federal courts. Her pro bono service includes representing asylum seekers in immigration proceedings.

Nagamine earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, and her B.A., manga cum laude, from the University of Washington. During law school, Nagamine served as senior editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. While an undergraduate, she worked for four years, first as an intern and then as a legal assistant, in the civil division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Washington.

Nagamine currently serves on the board of the Asian American Bar Association of Washington and is co-chair of its mentorship committee.
