Ian Rogers Joins Pacifica Law Group’s Litigation Practice

Ian Rogers brings to Pacifica Law Group more than a decade of experience litigating significant, complex matters.

Pacifica Law Group is pleased to announce that Ian Rogers has joined the firm as a partner in its Litigation group. Ian comes to Pacifica after a decade at Perkins Coie LLP, where he built his practice representing companies and individuals in high-stakes disputes in state and federal courts, and before arbitration panels across the country.

Ian’s extensive experience includes matters involving trade secret, copyright, trademark, consumer protection, real estate, contract, and constitutional law. Ian also regularly advises clients in connection with open records laws.

In the last several years, Ian has successfully obtained dismissal of fraud and breach of contract claims in state and federal court, and won summary judgment dismissal and an award of attorneys’ fees in a high-profile copyright authorship dispute.

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Ian earned his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, and his B.A. from Carleton College. Prior to attending law school, Ian worked in government in the United States House of Representatives and for the City of Portland, Oregon’s Office of Government Relations.
